Dermal Filler Injectable Treatments

Dermal Fillers & Fine Line Fillers

Dermal fillers are injections that plump up wrinkles and smooth lines on your face. They are all Hyaluronic Acid gel (HA). Hyaluronic Acid is found naturally in our body – in our skin, eyes and joints. In the skin it is responsible for hydrating, plumping and increasing the skins elasticity.

Fine line filler is a great option for fine lines around the mouth aka “smoker’s lines”.  Using a premium hydrating filler, lines are softened without creating volume.  Dermal fillers can help to enhance features and restore voume that is lost as we age.

Commonly used to boost volume in the face and plump and hydrate  lips, we use a premium filler to help you achieve a more youthful appearance.

Which Dermal Filler is right for me?

The filler that Iwe choose to treat you with will depend largely on the area of the face we are injecting, and what end result we are trying to achieve.

Do Dermal Fillers hurt?

The fillers all come with local anaesthetic added to the HA gel, so generally this is a well tolerated procedure. We commonly use an anaesthetic cream to make this procedure more comfortable too. If you are really adverse to discomfort we can offer you a dental block for when we are treating top lip lines or augmenting lips. The cost of a dental block is $20.

How long does a dermal filler treatment take?

The length of your treatment will depend on the particular area we are treating, but we generally allow 1 hour for this procedure.

What is the cost of Dermal Fillers?

  • Volume filler (cheeks etc)– Starting from $700 upwards

  • Lip Augmentation – Starting from $450-$700 (this depends largely on the amount that you want injected). The most common amount we  inject is 0.5ml is $450

  • Fine lines and wrinkles – Starting from $250 upwards (depending on the amount of lines you want injected).

Approximate prices for filler only. The cost can vary largely from person to person depending on severity of area to be corrected.

What is the Down Time?

Bruising and swelling are a very common side effect of dermal fillers and these can last up to a week so please keep this in mind when you schedule your appointment.

IMPORTANT

You are unable to have fillers if you are pregnant or breast feeding.  You must not have fillers if you have had a dental procedure (including a clean) within 2 weeks of your appointment.  You cannot have dermal fillers if you are unwell.  You cannot have dermal fillers if you are planning overseas travel within 2 weeks of your appointment.
