Wrinkle relaxing treatment is most effective when used as a preventative measure. Anti-Wrinkle Injectables are made from a protein that the treated facial muscles to relax temporarily. The treatment softens lines and wrinkles, and reduces the severity of deep fissures or furrows in the skin due to repeated tension caused by dynamic movement made during expressions.
During normal facial movements lines, known as dynamic wrinkles, can appear. Repetitive movement over time forms deeper lines and folds known as static wrinkles. Anti-Wrinkle Injectables work to prevent the formation of static wrinkles by stopping the signal between the nerve and muscle. These dynamic lines will soften over time, following wrinkle relaxing treatment.

The filler that Iwe choose to treat you with will depend largely on the area of the face we are injecting, and what end result we are trying to achieve.
Do Dermal Fillers hurt?
The fillers all come with local anaesthetic added to the HA gel, so generally this is a well tolerated procedure. We commonly use an anaesthetic cream to make this procedure more comfortable too. If you are really adverse to discomfort we can offer you a dental block for when we are treating top lip lines or augmenting lips. The cost of a dental block is $20.
How long does a dermal filler treatment take?
The length of your treatment will depend on the particular area we are treating, but we generally allow 1 hour for this procedure.
What is the cost of Dermal Fillers?
-
Volume filler (cheeks etc)– Starting from $700 upwards
-
Lip Augmentation – Starting from $450-$700 (this depends largely on the amount that you want injected). The most common amount we inject is 0.5ml is $450
-
Fine lines and wrinkles – Starting from $250 upwards (depending on the amount of lines you want injected).
Approximate prices for filler only. The cost can vary largely from person to person depending on severity of area to be corrected.
What is the Down Time?
Bruising and swelling are a very common side effect of dermal fillers and these can last up to a week so please keep this in mind when you schedule your appointment.
IMPORTANT
You are unable to have fillers if you are pregnant or breast feeding. You must not have fillers if you have had a dental procedure (including a clean) within 2 weeks of your appointment. You cannot have dermal fillers if you are unwell. You cannot have dermal fillers if you are planning overseas travel within 2 weeks of your appointment.

Profhilo
How does Profhilo work?
Profhilo is injected just under the surface of our skin to stimulate skin cells – giving a tightening and lifting effect to the skin. Containing one of the highest concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid on the market, the revolutionary ‘beneath the skin’ moisturising treatment is made with the patented NAHYCO technology, which makes it possible to deliver these high levels of hyaluronic acid safely and effectively.
In case you’re not aware of all the incredible benefits and capabilities of HA, it’s a water-binding molecule that can hold up to 10,000 times its weight in water. It naturally occurs in the skin but as we age, our bodies will begin to produce less of it. By using HA through topical skincare, or via injectables, it can stimulate the skin cell receptors to improve and restore firmness to the skin. But unlike traditional fillers, Profhilo’s aim is not to volumise, instead, it attracts and retains water to the superficial layer of the face – giving you an unmatched glow. This makes it a great treatment to have before a big event such as a wedding if you want to have flawless, dewy skin!
What are the benefits of Profhilo?
At Appearance Coach, we use Profhilo as a way to improve skin quality. Thinkthink of Profhilo as being the ultimate step in your skincare routine. Because it works at a deeper level, Profhilo creates structure and support alongside hydration which will give the skin an unmatched amount of bounce and plumpness. It can also improve the skin’s overall texture and tone, giving you a healthier-looking complexion.
Who should and shouldn’t get Profhilo?
As mentioned, Profhilo works wonders for hydrating the skin, as well as regenerating the skin when the first signs of ageing begin to appear. Because the outcome is always very natural looking, it is generally considered to be a good treatment for all skin types. However, if you have extensive sun damage or more engrained lines and wrinkles, you may require more treatments to see the desired results. This is something to raise during your consultation, and the nurse will be able to tell you whether you will achieve your desired look – and if not, how other treatments might be better suited to help you get there. It’s also worth noting that Profhilo is not recommended forpregnant or breastfeeding women.
When considering any injectable treatment it’s always good to measure and manage your expectations to find out what exactly it will achieve, and what it won’t. Profhilo is not filler – therefore, its main goal is not to add volume to specific areas of the face. If this is what you’re after, then dermal filler might be more suited. However, if you’re wanting a deep, hydrating boost to the face, then Profhilo is absolutely the right treatment for you.
How much does Profhilo cost?
The first time you have Profhilo, you will require two appointments four weeks apart from each other. The two treatments will be $1400
We recommend maintenance treatments every 6-9 months of a single treatment which is $700
What is the downtime after Profhilo?
After a treatment, there is usually no downtime involved, however, you may experience some redness and small bumps and the injection site. We inject very superifically at 10 specific points on the face. At each of these points you will have small bumps visible that will usually disappear within 24 hours for most people. occasionally there may be some bruising but this will subside after a few days. It’s recommended that you avoid consuming alcohol, strenuous exercise or rubbing/massaging the treated area for 24 hours after. Also avoid anywhere that your skin may come into contact with irritants such as pools, hot tubs and saunas.

We create a customised cocktail for your skin requirements, whether that’s hydration, firming, brightening, booating collagen and elastin to improve fine lines and wrinkles and genrally improve the overall tone and texture of your skin.
Your customised skin cocktail is delivered via The V2 injector device.
The V2 injector is a delivery device that allows us to place serums beneath the skin at a precise depth and accurate dosing for a quick and effective treatment with minimal pain and downtime for patients.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The V2 injector device uses multi-needles – from 5 needles up to 9, allowing for the procedure to be performed in a short treatment time. The benefit of multi-needle injections allows for decrease in the amount of pain experienced by clients during the procedure as the sensation is decreased relative to single needle injections.
The device is innovative in that it works by applying a light suction to the skin prior to every injection. This leads to a more comfortable and accurate procedure, allowing for accurate and precise depth delivery, ensuring the patient receives a uniform delivery of product to the area being treated. This also reduces bruising and swelling.
WHAT CAN THE BOOST AND GLOW TREAT?
The Boost and Glow can reduce fine lines and imperfections, such as acne scarring and photo-damaged (sun damaged) skin, gradually improving your skin’s condition and elasticity. It delivers hydration deep inside the skin and can be used on exposed and sensitive areas such as the face, neck, décolletage and hands.

- Increase skin elasticity and firm the skin
- Hydrate skin deep in the dermis for ongoing skin hydration
- Improve skin lustre and luminosity
- Smooth and soften the skin
- Restore plumpness and radiance.
What is the Treatment Process?
The treatment itself only takes about half an hour, and is quick, and relatively risk free. We apply a medical grade anaesthetic cream about 30 minutes prior to starting the treatment so maximum comfort is upheld throughout.
The result you can expect from this treatment is visibly smoother, softer and more youthful looking skin and it can be experienced just after one treatment.
Best results are obtained with a series of 3 treatments performed 6 weeks apart.
The benefits last up to 12 months, with a single treatment performed thereafter every 12 months or so.
DOWN TIME
Despite it being an injectable treatment, the down time with the Boost and Glow is minimal You may experience some redness, swelling, heat which may last up to 24 hours for most people and of course there is always the possibility of bruising which can last up to 7-10 days.
IS IT PAINFUL?

$399 per treatment and treatment takes one hour
ADDITIONAL ADD ONS:
Boost and Glow with Botulinum Toxin $599
You can add Boutlinum toxin to the Boost and Glow which gives you a filter-like effect to your skin. Botulinum toxin when injected superfically into the skin rather than the muscle can help improve the appearance of pores, decrease sweating and redness and leave you with a beautiful canvas for your makeup. This particular treatment is very popular with our brides and a great pre-event treatment.

We then add your platelet rich plasma into the cocktail of serums and complete the treatment in eaxactly the same way, just with a supercharged cocktail.

No vigorous exercise for 24 hours
Avoid anti-inflammatories for 48 hours

Avoid heat and sun for 48 hours and you must use a SPF30 daily
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
What is PRP?
PRP is an injectable treatment/therapy that utilises a portion of a patient’s own blood which contains a concentration of platelets. Sometimes referred to as Autologous Platelet Concentrate and Plasma Rich Growth Factors, PRP is a proven and safe treatment that has been used in the treatment of wounds, burns, tendon and muscle injuries within the medical industry for over a decade.
Having gained popularity within the aesthetic industry over the last few years, practitioners and patients alike have been beyond impressed with how PRP can positively affect the skin. PRP skin treatments are particularly good for improving fine lines and wrinkles, as well as stimulating hair growth into follicles that have started to deteriorate.
PRP is an excellent treatment that will compliment other modalities such as anti-wrinkle, filler and laser in a holistic skin plan to tackle a myriad of different concerns.
What is the product that is injected into the skin?
To be frank, the solution that is injected back into the skin is a by-product made up of your very own blood. A concentration of platelets found in the plasma part of blood is extracted from the sample, spun in a centrifuge and reinjected into the skin.
It is well known that the body has a great capacity to heal itself, for example if someone sustains a cut or fall or tears a ligament or tendon. One of the key mechanisms in the body’s healing process is the action of platelets within the blood, that release natural growth factors that can stimulate and regenerate damaged tissue.
What does PRP help with?
PRP can aid in the rejuvenation of skins experiencing signs of volume loss, fine lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity.
One of the most effective ways to use PRP is through the injection of these platelet rich cells into the scalp, which rejuvenate the hair follicle which can help thicken hair and bring hair back to life for those experiencing hair loss.
For years PRP has been successfully used in numerous skin care applications, including alopecia, scar revision, acne scars, stretch marks, skin rejuvenation and dermal augmentation.
What areas can be treated with PRP?
PRP can be used on any skin area. However, it is most commonly used in addition with microneedling and for hairloss.
What is the PRP treatment process like?
PRP is a very straightforward procedure and involves taking a small amount of blood from a patient’s arm (very like a blood test sample is taken). This blood is then immediately spun in a centrifuge machine which separates the blood and concentrates the blood’s plasma portion. This platelet-rich plasma portion is then injected into the dermis layer of the skin with a multi-needled device to cover as much area as possible and speed up the treatment.
As a patient’s own blood is being used it is considered a low-risk procedure with no risk of allergy or disease transmission from the blood. The needles and devices used are very fine and well tolerated but we apply a medical grade anaesthetic cream prior to the treatment commencing which helps maximise levels of comfort. Slight bruising and swelling and redness can occur after injection but typically settle in 24 hours.
For the best results with PRP skin rejuvenation a series of 3 treatments spaced a minimum of 4 weeks apart are required. Results usually start to be seen in 2-3 weeks after PRP but optimal results can take 2-3 months. The long-term results with this treatment depends on factors such as age, general health and skin condition and a follow up maintenance treatment in 12 months can help maintain results.
Collagen Induction Therapy / Micro-Needling
Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), also known as medical microneedling is a minimally-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment designed to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars. This advanced process stimulates the body’s natural collagen production, resulting in visibly younger, smoother and firmer skin. SkinPen is an FDA approved medical device, a leader in the field of microneedling.

SkinPen is one of the most incredible anti-ageing and firming treatments available. It takes collagen induction to the next level and the results are simply outstanding. You’ll notice a significant improvement in pore size, skin colour and acne scarring. Fine lines will diminish as collagen is boosted, and you’ll also see experience less skin sensitivity. SkinPen can be safely used very close to the eye area and lips, allowing you to really target these lines and improve the texture and density of crepey skin.
SkinPen is designed to create a safe healing response within the body to ignite natural collagen and elastin production, without the harsh side effects and downtime. This treatment repairs surface layers, resulting in healthier, brighter, tighter, more even toned skin with refined pores and reduced wrinkles.
Your face, lip area, eye area, ears, neck, chest, hands and scalp are all treated with pinpoint precision to promote rapid lifting, firming and toning of facial features and contours. What’s more, the microchannels allow your skin to carry up to 80% more active ingredients which dive deep into your skin to feed and be absorbed by the underlying cells.
Who is it suitable for?

Treatment for Excessive Sweating (Hyperhidrosis)
If sweating is significantly interfering with your daily activities and topical agents have not helped, don’t let this get you down. Even the strongest roll-ons, powders and various other topical products often have little or no effect on severe sweating. Botulinum Toxin however, is a significantly more effective solution, offering remarkable results.
Botulinum Toxin helps control this condition by temporarily blocking the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands. When the sweat glands don’t receive chemical signals, the severe sweating stops.
What does the treatment involve?
At Appearance Coach we always do a cornstarch/Iodine test which involves an iodine solution applied to affected area. After it is dry we then dust over cornstarch and as sweating occurs this will turn a dark blue enabling us to see exactly where your sweat pattern is. This ensures we place the Botulinum toxin exactly where it is required.
The actual procedure is relatively straightforward. A small volume of Botulinum Toxin is injected into the affected area through a very fine needle. The needle is placed just under the skin, so you may experience some injection-related discomfort however the treatment is usually very well tolerated as we use a strong topical numbing cream.
How long do the results last for?
Botulinum Toxin reduces localized excessive sweating by an average of 83%, bringing your problem sweating back to normal. This simple procedure is well tolerated and has no downtime. Results last on average eight to twelve months and can often last longer with repeated treatments. Most people plan for a treatment about once a year. Most clints notice a 90% reduction in sweating.

SkinPen Advanced Needling
By triggering the skin’s natural healing response, SkinPen® accelerates collagen production and cell regeneration for healthier, smoother and tighter skin. SkinPen’s highest class of sterility and depth precision produces faster and more dramatic results.
Ideal for: Reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, active and acne scarring, sallow, lax skin, and thinning skin.
IPL for Pigmentation and Redness
IPL skin rejuvenation is also commonly used as a photo rejuvenation technique that reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the face to increase overall luminosity for a more youthful, fresh appearance. When used as an acne treatment IPL can help to reduce acne bacteria behind red, painful breakouts and inflammation. IPL skin rejuvenation can help to address many of the same issues as more aggressive skin treatments without the recovery time or complexity. For many patients, it is a wise first line of treatment when addressing skin issues related to ageing, sun-damage or discolouration.
What to expect when having IPL skin rejuvenation done
During IPL skin rejuvenation, a light is applied that helps to trigger collagen production to address irregularities while also filling in any shallow areas from scars, lines and wrinkles. The wavelength on the IPL machine is adjusted for each patient to create optimal results. An IPL treatment is a fast, pain-free procedure. During your treatment session, you may feel a slight sensation on your skin. IPL skin rejuvenation sometimes requires several treatment sessions to achieve full results. However, the number of treatments needed is determined by your specific aesthetic goal for a particular issue. IPL typically delivers long-lasting results that can be boosted by occasional maintenance treatments. A professional skincare regiment can also help to enhance and lengthen the impact of IPL.
Unlike many corrective skin treatments, IPL skin rejuvenation does not require any downtime. That means that you’ll generally be free to return to the rest of your day following a treatment session. Occasionally, some patients experience some very temporary redness in the treatment area. It’s also possible that the skin in the treated area will feel sensitive for a few weeks. You will be advised on how to protect your skin from the sun as part of your post-treatment plan for creating optimal results.
Who is an ideal candidate for IPL skin rejuvenation?
IPL skin rejuvenation can be a good option for anyone who is bothered by pigmentation issues, redness or acne. Generally, someone with blotchy, unevenly colored or sun-damaged skin can enjoy an even, bright skin tone following this procedure. Many patients find that it creates noticeable improvements in skin texture while also reducing lines and wrinkles. Different skin types can respond to IPL skin rejuvenation differently. For this reason, a consultation that covers the results you can expect based on your aesthetic goals is important for determining if IPL skin rejuvenation is the best option.
